Returns Processing
For both FBM and FBA sellers, managing returns is a crucial part of ensuring business efficiency and customer satisfaction. We make this process seamless, handling returns for you, whether they are from FBM or FBA shipments.
Return Receipt and Tracking
For FBA products, when items are returned from Amazon, we receive them directly, with all the necessary data imported via our platform, which connects to Amazon through API. This eliminates the need for any action or notification from you. Similarly, for FBM returns, we receive and log all items, providing full visibility into your inventory and returns process.
Inspection and Quality Control
We inspect all returns to assess their condition:
- New/Unused: Items that are returned in perfect condition and can be restocked immediately.
- Used/Open Box: Items that may have been opened or lightly used but are still in sellable condition after reprocessing.
- Damaged or Defective: Items that are no longer sellable and require further action (e.g., repair, return to vendor, or disposal).
Repackaging and Restocking
- For items that are returned in sellable condition, we repackage them as per your brand guidelines or specific market requirements and return them to inventory for future sale.
- We ensure that all labels, barcodes, and packaging meet marketplace standards (e.g., for Amazon, Shopify, eBay, etc.) before items are re-listed.
Managing Refunds and Exchanges
- We assist with coordinating refunds or exchanges, depending on your business policy. Our system updates customer service teams or marketplace platforms with the status of the return, ensuring a smooth refund or replacement process.
- Any necessary documentation for the customer or financial records is handled, ensuring accurate reporting.
Disposition of Unsellable or Damaged Products
- Repair or Refurbish: For products that can be reconditioned, we help restore them to a sellable state.
- Return to Vendor or Supplier: For items covered by manufacturer warranties or supplier agreements, we facilitate the return process.
- Disposal: Items that cannot be resold or repaired are disposed of responsibly.
Reporting and Analytics
Our platform provides detailed reports on all returns processed, including:- Return Rates: Insights into product and fulfillment issues.
